DIY Screw in traill camera holder
#1
I haven't tried this yet but Lonnie on another facebook page I belong too and a few guys on AA365 are sharing this and says it works great.

From the site-

Material list:
-1/4-20 x 3-3/4" eye bolt (industry standard is 1/4 pitch threads on the camera mount)
-1/4-20 nylon wing nut
-1/4 x 4" eye bolt
-3x 7/16" flat washers
-1/2" x 1" hex bolt & nut

Dollar total for this is $2.69 including tax.
These are the cheaper zinc coated parts so they will rust. Spray with the rustoleum product of your choice. I splurged & used their bumpy autumn brown stuff.

I have mine in boxes that are locked and I have cable locks around them. I use the straps that came with the cameras to put them in and if needed I use sticks behind the boxes. I try not to screw too much into the trees on properties. I like the extra security of the box that had a lock on it

Looks like it would work out pretty good though.

I use my straps on Browning and the Moultrie but the Moultrie buckle piece broke on me so I just tie it off. The Wildgames I use small bungees. Just sometimes the bungees are too small and I forget to bring extras with me or my locations trees are too tiny for the bungees. My main issue over the holder, straps, bungees are location. I'm still learning the North, South, East, West.

Can't have a camera around here unless you bear proof it.
